Day 5

Sat beside the river tonight.  Countless baby water striders (?) silently skating across the water, making it look like a light rain was falling on the river. 

 

 Raccoon, deer, and bird tracks in mud. Smell of wet clay of the riverbank and newly mown grass.

 

Love how this photo came out - I was trying to capture the insect in it, but camera wanted to focus on the wavy reflections of the trees instead.
